About

My father is an audacious man. He gave up a successful law career in the US and moved our family to Africa, pursuing his vision for a better world. In doing so, he helped define a unique and creative lifestyle for us as kids. I’ve taken many great lessons from him and from my childhood, but becoming a father forced me to define my own philosophy and approach to parenting.

When I became a dad I was surprised to find that there were only a few voices in contemporary culture that spoke to the generational shift in fatherhood. While the previous generation relied on traditional gender roles, our generation is seeking to redefine what it means to be a man and a father.

Vvolfpup is a conversation about the evolving role of men as parents. We are a community that represents the diversity in fatherhood today. Our goal is to initiate conversations that inspire and educate, providing insight into becoming better men and better fathers.

The first issue focuses on the concept of Legacy and what it means to be a bridge between generations. How does one’s philosophy on work and parenting impact his legacy? And how do you build traditions that create meaningful family culture in a clickbait environment?

We look forward to exploring these questions and more as we build a space for dads to discover new ideas and inspiration.

Cheers
